We are pleased to announce that the 12th edition of the Global Forum on Tourism Statistics will be held in Prague, Czech Republic on 15-16 May 2014.

The event is organised jointly by the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic, the Czech Statistical Office, the CzechTourism Board, the Statistical Office of the European Union (EUROSTAT) and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

The Global Forum on Tourism Statistics has been providing since 1994 a unique platform for the regular exchange of views and experiences on developments in tourism statistics. The aim is to discuss major technical issues concerning the establishment of harmonised tourism statistics in an environment that strengthens co-operation among governments, the private sector, researchers, academics, OECD and EU member and non-member countries and international organisations.

Important notes

The registration for the forum and social programme (incl. dinners and sightseeing tours) is free of charge.

Deadline for the registration is April 30th, 2014. 

Please be informed that the capacity of the forum venue is limited, therefore we would like to kindly ask you to register as soon as possible, no later than April 30th, 2014.

Please note that due to the security measure at the forum venue, all delegates will be asked to prove the identity by the personal document (ID, passport, etc.) during the registration.
